    Adult Project | SEARCH

    Our Adult Project SEARCH program creates a pathway to employment for adults with developmental disabilities.

    Adults in the program are encouraged and empowered to explore career interests and build upon their current skills and strengths, all while working and learning in a positive environment.

    Build Skills

    Adults in this program will complete a nine-month internship at a North Point Hospitality host site with mentors and employment support. This structure offers workplace immersion and combines classroom instruction, career exploration, and hands-on training.

    This internship enhances your employability skills, explores career interests and utilizes strengths with a goal of competitive employment in the community. Job placement assistance is included upon completion.

    Interns Will:

    • Participate in a variety of internships within North Point Hospitality.

    • Acquire competitive, transferable, and marketable job skills.

    • Gain increased independence, confidence, and self-esteem.

    • Obtain work-based, individualized coaching, instruction, and feedback.

    • Develop connections to vocational rehabilitation and other adult service agencies.
